When I first touched a century-old qipao, the delicate stitches seemed to whisper: tradition shouldn’t be locked away behind glass — it should breathe in rhythm with our time. So we, a group of young creatives, began this adventure with reverence for the past and a vision for the future — telling the story of the East through the language of the modern qipao.
We’ve deconstructed the most exquisite piping techniques found in museum collections, and studied the boldest street styles of New York. And we’ve come to understand: true heritage isn’t about replication — it’s about making the cheongsam a part of real, contemporary life. A woman should be able to wear it to the boardroom, or pair it with sneakers to grab coffee.
In an era overwhelmed by fast fashion, we choose to do things slowly — and beautifully. Because we know: when a Parisian girl confidently walks down Avenue Montaigne in our qipao dress, she’s wearing more than just silk — she’s wearing a modern response to five thousand years of civilization.
